The City of Lubbock is well known for its music legend Buddy Holly. This place celebrates his legacy by displaying his music. This center also accommodates the history of other performing artists and musicians of West Texas. The plaza here is open to the public until evening. The center focus on collecting and conserving of music of Lubbock and West Texas. General admission will cost you around $10. The senior citizens and kids get an entry for $8 and $5, respectively. College students with valid ID cards need to pay just $5, and it’s entirely free for active military personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Silent Wings Museum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This museum preserves stories, documents, and equipment of glider units of World War 2. These are on display for educating and entertaining the public. A WACO CG-4A glider, one of the few fully restored gliders from WWII, as well as multiple exhibit galleries, a theatre, a restored C-47 airplane, and a research library, are all included at the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
