After 500,000 miles of development testing and fine-tuning the technology on a voyage across the United States and Canada, Ford will begin delivering its new BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system to customers later this year. BlueCruise features lane centering, and adaptive cruise control, similar to Tesla Autopilot; however, unlike Autopilot and more similar to GM SuperCruise, Ford’s program enables hands-free driving on prequalified parts of split highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones. BlueCruise monitors attention on the road with a driver-facing camera, essential to keep driving hands-free. Carizma Motors in Lubbock, TX, is bringing this official video of Ford to you.
